Hi all,

I thought some of you might be interested in this workshop we're running down here in NH since many of you know and have studied with Mark so know how much great info he has to share.

The link to the full description is: http://www.meetup.com...

Here's a quick blurb:
Sunday, November 4, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mark will discuss soil function and dysfunction, trouble-shooting and repair of living soils. He brings us recipes and examples of detailed soil and plant communities for common or challenging settings, and alternatives to the usual forms of agriculture.
Mark will then lead us in covering:
-Rehabbing 'worthless' or abandoned farmland
-Bioremediation
-Reversing the "dumbing down of soils systems"
-Changing annual crop based socioeconomic patterns by shifting to minimum disturbance methods
-The development of permanent food and multi-use plants as soil stabilizers and fertility sinks

If you want to sign up you can either join our Seacoast PC Meetup group or just go through me (Amy - amyla44 AT juno.com) to get signed up.

Hope to have some of you there!

Amy
