Hi folks,
We are pleased to let you know that the 2008 Kneading Conference information and online registration are now available! Please visit for all the details. You may also register snail mail by printing the registration panel from the brochure and sending it in with a check.

Farmer Scholarships
If you are a farmer interested in learning more about growing grains for bread production, we have scholarships available to offset the cost. Contact Heart of Maine for more information (or click here for an application).

Community Open House, free to the public
Tewksbury Hall
Friday, August 1st from 7:00 ? 8:30pm
This portion of the Kneading Conference is free and open to the public! There will be wood fired oven demonstrations and information on oven construction, along with lectures on growing grains in Maine. Treats from the wood fired oven and refreshments will be served.

Live Music, open to the public
Skowhegan location to be determined
Saturday, August 2nd from 7:30 ? 9:30pm
A small fee will be charged at the door. More details on the location and cost will be posted on our website as it gets closer to the event.

If attending the Kneading Conference is part of a family trip to Maine this summer and you are interested in having your family join you for evening meals, please contact me for costs and availability.
