Are highways a top priority in Maine?

user 3832381

This is late notice about the meeting tonight, (May 29) from the League of Young Voters...but worth keeping track of, and maybe attend the June 5th meeting in Westbrook:

Lets get our priorities straight!
Give the Portland Area Comprehensive Transit Committee your input regarding transportation in Maine!

When gas prices break $4.00 a gallon, something has to be wrong. When the Mass Transit system in Maine provides no successful alternative to driving, something has to be very wrong. So when the authority on Comprehensive Transit in Southern Maine decides to keep highways on the top of its priority, and public transportation at the bottom--well, something isn't just wrong, something is simply foul.

Tell them what YOUR priorities are!

Yarmouth PACTS Hearing
7 p.m.
at the Yarmouth Town Hall - Community Room

Westbrook PACTS Hearing
June 5
