Interval running

Interval running, good to mix with your normal running to get better results!

Everyone can participate since every interval is in your own pace.

How it works:

  1. Warm up (Blue line on map) from the meeting point at the edge of "Sportgärdet" (Green dot on detailed map) close to Gärdets subway or blue bus no 1 (Storskärsgatan).
  2. Interval phase around Djurgårdsbrunnskanalen (Green loop on map).
    Each interval will be 90s and during that time you run at your own "almost" maximum speed.
    Then when you hear my whistle you start walking! (NO STOPPING!)
  3. Everyone but the last person _turns around_ and starts to walk back, so the last person sort of collects everyone and we become a group again, it's after all a meetup! Rest phase is also 90s.

  4. Repeat 2 & 3 until we complete the green loop on the map, about 10-11 times.
  5. Then we jog back as cool down to the meeting place.

If you are late you should be able to catch up by following our trail, we go counter clock wise around the green loop = water on your left side!

The total length of the track is about 8km, and it should take about 1 hour.

    I would like to experiment the intervall running, but as I started running not a long time ago, I'm scared to be to slow for you guys! Maybe I can try and if it's annoying I can do it alone?

    Since there are a lot of other interesting meetups on Tuesdays (at least for me) I will move the interval running to another weekday next time, but this Tuesday is still on!
