Learn to sew electronics. Wearable electronics can be used to illuminate, sense, and even communicate over wireless, all without a lick of solder.
In this beginner-oriented workshop, artist and electronics teacher Tenaya Hurst will show you how to sew lights into your clothing, using parts that can even be washed (provided you take the battery out).
Some hand-sewing practice can be helpful, but not necessary.
Workshop parts cost: $25.
