Wellbeing Walk: Philips Park

Key Details
Date: Wednesday 12th November
Time: Meet at 12:00pm
Meeting Point: Etihad Campus Tram Stop (Metrolink) – we’ll meet outside the stop before walking over together to Philips Park.

Join us for a gentle and social wellbeing walk around Philips Park, one of Manchester’s oldest public parks and a beautiful green escape right in the city.

This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, connect with others, and enjoy some fresh air and movement at your own pace.
From the Etihad Campus tram stop, it’s roughly a 10-minute walk (0.5 miles) to the park entrance on Stuart Street.

We’ll take a relaxed route through the park’s woodland paths and open green spaces, with time for a chat and a hot drink afterwards if you’d like to stay.

What to bring:
· Comfortable shoes for walking
· Weather-appropriate clothing (it’s November – so wrap up warm!)
· A drink or snack if you’d like
· As always, our wellbeing walks are free, sober, and open to all.
Accessibility information:
· The route from the tram stop to the park is step-free and mostly paved.
· Inside the park, paths are a mix of paved and gravel surfaces; some areas may be uneven or muddy depending on the weather.
· The main walking route will be kept as flat and accessible as possible.
· Toilets are available near the main park entrance.
· The Etihad Campus tram stop has step-free access and frequent trams from Manchester city centre.
If you have any accessibility needs or would like to check specific details before joining, please contact us!

If it’s your first time joining us or you’d like more information, feel free to get in touch beforehand. We’d love to have you join us.
