Description
Manchester ACE (a-c-e, ooh) Volleyball is a friendly volleyball group. We put the players first and want to involve everyone. Let us know if you want to attend or contribute in any other way! For example, by adding songs to our Spotify playlist or taking part in polls/surveys on Facebook.

Rules
- have fun and let others have fun,
- beginners get 3 tries for their first serve,
- use green lines for the court markings,
- net touch = no no,
- invasion - step on the green line = ok,
- invasion - go beyond line = no no (someone can get injured),
- step on the serve line = no no,
- carrying the ball = no no (lifting the ball instead of hitting it)
- the ball hits walls and ceiling = stop immediately,
- listen to the referee, they have the final say,
- referees must stand (never sit),
- don't leave objects by the court, they are a tripping hazard,

*How We Play*
We rotate when the team scores a point/new person serves.
Number 1 serves (new players can try serving up to 3 times if serving underarm).
Numbers 2 and 4 are hitters.
Number 3 sets (2nd ball is theirs).
Numbers 5 and 1 cover the back.
Number 6 covers the centre and short balls.
If the team has 7 players, the 7th player starts to the side and swaps in for the serve (number 1 position).
