Classical nude photography workshop

No rubber outfits, tattoos, body piercings,

fetish wear..sorry !

The beauty of the naked body has been inspiring great photographers since the earliest days of the medium and its timeless qualities; demure, classical, natural, sensual are the themes we will be exploring in this tutored workshop.

There will be several different setups during the evening. Each proceeded by some instruction and advice; about why the lighting is set up the way it is and giving guidance on how to get the best results from it with your model.

It is an ideal workshop for those with no experience in the studio or working with nude models. Or for those who have previously shot in a studio that was set up for them but who now want to actually learn about how to light for themselves. It is limited to just 5 photographers so that everyone receives personal attention.

These shots of our model that I took recently reflect the timeless quality of classical nude photography. They could have been taken 5 days or 50 years ago.

My workshops differ from most studio photography meetups. You will not find everything set up for you to then just snap away. Here we work together to set up the lighting so you can understand why it is set up the way it is. I want you to leave with some great shots and am on hand to offer as much or as little guidance as you may want.

Feedback from my March 3rd workshop.

“I learned a great deal. I now have the confidence to try out my flash and reflectors”

“Practical useful advice - wish I had done it years ago”

“Excellent tuition, plenty of practice using various lighting techniques, and some great professional tricks of the trade “

This intensive workshop is limited to just 5 photographers and is being held on Wednesday March 20th from 18.30 – 21.30. The cost is £45 and takes place at my Shoreditch studio by Old Street station. You will need an SLR or similar camera with a standard hot shoe.

Yes - the model depicted is the model who we will have for the workshop. Under my direction we will experiment and move the lights into several different backgrounds/setups giving photographers several turns with the model in different setups.

Sadly out of circulation for the immediate future, otherwise this would be great for my portfolio. Hopefully another time.
