How to make money from stock photography

This workshop offers a unique insight into the world of stock photography. If you want to start selling through picture libraries (or have more success) I can offer sound practical advice backed up by facts and figures.

I contribute to 3 photo libraries, one of which has earned me a six figure amount. This particular library delivers online to its contributors, full sales and account information. I will be making all of this information available. We will view and analyse all of my sales over the last 10 years and I can show you exactly what has sold, where to, how many times and for how much. I produce a wide variety of pictures in the most saleable stock categories; Lifestyle – Couples, models; Studio – food, drink, still life, concepts; Travel – London and all over the world.

Everything you need to know will be covered;

Which agencies to join and which are probably not worth your time applying to.

Microstock agencies; are they worth joining

How to find models for lifestyle pictures. How to get them to work for free or on a shared content basis.

Selling photos; Should they be Licensed or Royalty Free ? Exclusive or non Exclusive ?

Model releases: When you need them and when you don’t

Property releases; Are they necessary ?

Keywords; How to keyword successfully. If you don’t have the right words how will anyone find your image ?
