    Japanese stilt-grass (Microstegium vimineum)? Photo taken June 26, 2011. I'm still learning my invasive grasses. I've never seen this grass in flower. Short-statured grass that has been spreading along main hiking trail at Honeygo Run. I can see the characteristic "silvery midrib" on some of the leaves.

    Yes that's Microstegium. You captured the characteristic light mid-line on several leaves. They will get much taller before they flower.
