What we're about
As we navigate through these unprecedented times, we warmly invite people to a series of free, online meditation sessions to release fear and restore peace within. Although we cannot gather in person, we can still gather our energy to lighten our minds and brighten the world around us. With true peace in our hearts, we can serve our communities with optimism and create lives filled with joy and well-being.
Who we are
Heartland Meditation is a non-profit organization with the mission of helping people find inner peace through the unique meditation program Finding Your True Self. We have been serving Mundelein and the northwest suburbs with a life-changing meditation practice since 2015.
What We Do
We offer online and in-studio guided meditation which transforms people’s lives in many different ways, including physical and mental health, relationships, performance, and inner peace. we try to support our community to stay strong through these unprecedented times with more uncertainties ever than before. As each event covers a topic and goes through the basics of the method, you can effectively meditate for results when you follow the guidance in the live virtual session. Hope you can gain inner-peace and joy after joining events with us!

This is a class for beginners who want to understand our mind and learn the tools that can help you take your life in a joyful and positive direction.

Dr. Yu will explore the many conditions that are manifested in our minds, their common roots and show ways to uproot them and gain back our mental wellness, wellbeing, and freedom.Each week, she will cover a different topic such as anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, PTSD, ADHD, and more. These conditions are different, yet can often be healed in the same way. Based on her extensive research on how meditation can encourage good mental health and help us overcome each of these conditions, Dr. Yu will share these findings along with other scientific discoveries that shed new light on the subjects.
