This is our new name.
We have events on Saturdays over the winter, and will draw in churches because there is no charge to keep a seat, it's warm, it's artistic, and it's not busy that day but is on Sunday's.
I don't think the management or customers in café or pubs would want 8 members drawing them for 2 or 3 hours as they would feel embarrassed. Also the cost of buying drinks for 3 hours to hold our seats could be expensive.
The goal of this group is to be active in drawing outdoors.
Drawing landscapes, buildings, churches, street's. If weather bad draw inside building's.
Membership is open to beginners and advanced for free.
We learn by practicing our art and the example of other artists.
As artists can suffer from working in isolation, it is essential to have a base support group, to support us to carry on.
