This exhibition celebrates the work of past and present students’ design and illustration work. Displaying a wealth of creativity and technical skill in a vast array of different outcomes. The specialist art and design courses at Richmond upon Thames college have a proven track record of providing a solid foundation of taking the students onto highly successful careers in their chosen field. From advertising, architecture, animation, VFX, illustration to design, these courses have produced a glittering list of alumni for more than fifty years.

There will be a private screening of Mamoon, which is an experimental short film produced by Tom Box, one of RuTC's ex graphic design students who went on to found Blue Zoo, one of the UK’s leading animation studios. Mamoon is 6 min long and created by projecting 3D animation onto miniature sets. This film is not yet released and has already received a Film BAFTA nomination. Sneak trailer click here:

On all these courses students are taught in a dynamic studio environment by passionate enthusiastic staff with a wealth of professional expertise and aided by external industry professionals. Students experience, professional collaborations for a real world industry experience.

This is also a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in Graphic Design or illustration, to see the work created by our HNC/D adult programme, that runs 2 days a week.

RuTC prestigious art and design alumni includes Barney Bubbles , who created album covers for Hawkwind, Elvis Costello, The blockheads and the Damned. Pennie Smith took the photo that became the artwork for the iconic Clash album, London Calling. Some of the iconic artworks will be on display in the exhibition.
