Okay, you know you should exercise & walking is one of the simplest, easiest & cheapest ways to go. But…..sometimes, you just need a group of people to help you get motivated!! Walking every day sounds easy at first, but sooner or later you run into a day when you just DO NOT WANT TO GET OUT OF BED!! That’s where we come in - THE WEEKEND WALKING WARRIORS!

• We meet Saturday’s & Sundays, weather permitting.
• Meet up at 8:25 in front of the Bridge by the entrance
• We start at 8:30 sharp, feel free to catch up with us if you’re running late
• Join us on whatever dates you can
• The trail is a 1 mile oval, around a lake, with benches along the way if you need a short rest
• The trail is wood chipped, easy on the feet
• Walk at your own pace
• We’re striving for 3 times around the lake (3 miles=1 hour), but do whatever is comfortable for you
• Afterwards, there is a beautiful waterfall on the grounds to sit & relax by

TIME: 8:30 am-9:30 am

LOCATION: Lake Katherine, 7402 Lake Katherine Dr, Palos Heights, IL 60463, free parking

WHERE TO FIND US: in front of the Bridge by the entrance, at 8:25 am
