Hi guys, My name is Stanislav. I'm doing masters in counselling psychology at McGill. I stumbled upon self-compassion when I discovered Kristin Neff's book. It immediately changed my life. I want to share my experiences and inspire you to be self-accepting and kind to yourself. I believe every single individual deserves compassion from oneself and others. As a matter of fact, being harsh and unforgiving with ourselves can be seen as pathological. I get inspiration by Kristin Neff, Tara Brach, Eckhart Tolle, and Brene Brown.
Cultivating self-compassion takes time and practice, but the results of being kind to yourself are transformative. We will be learning and practicing mindfulness as only through being mindful we can exercise self-compassion. And the most important, sharing our inner beauty and kindness with others is the way to become kind toward ourselves
