Questions are like keys. The right question, asked at the right time, will open a door to something you don't yet know, something you haven't considered, or gaining a new perspective - about others and about yourself. For me, it is the search for DHARMA - the truth, the elements and patterns that make up experience. I believe that JOY is within each one of us. From the moment we are born, joy and happiness is clearly evident and necessary for our growth, development and frankly, our survival. As we get older, however, it seems easy to forget that as our lives are dealing with sadness, sorrow and negativity, we have the ability to reverse those feelings and truly find positivity and joy in our everyday lives.
I believe Sir Richard Branson said it best:
"If you allow yourself to be in the moment, and appreciate the moment, happiness will follow. I speak from experience. We’ve built a business empire, joined conversations about the future of our planet, attended many memorable parties and met many unforgettable people. And while these things have brought me great joy, it’s the moments that I stopped just to be, rather than do, that have given me true happiness. Why? Because allowing yourself just to be, puts things into perspective. Try it. Be still. Be present." This is my intention with Joyful Living - to help you tap into the joy and happiness that is within you and not only enhance your own life, but the lives of those around you.
