We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month, to discuss a book, usually fiction. Our meeting place is in the basement of Runcible Spoon.Our discussions range from literary critique to personal anecdotes, with lots of social, psychological and economic commentary thrown in.All points of view are welcome!
For our May book, we will be reading and discussing "Gold Hill: A Novel of Old New York" by Francis Spufford. We will also be reading and discussing the short story "The Magic Barrel" by Bernard Malamud.
