Dates: Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 - Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 (4th of July Weekend, so you won't have to take too many vacation days off!) This will be a trip of a lifetime. We are combining the best of both worlds; a historic experience highlighting all of the must-see locations and experiences, and the opportunity to go out at night and experience the nightlife of Cape Town, every night! The agenda is jam-packed, however, you are not obligated to attend every or any event! Day 1: Wednesday- July 3rd, 2019 Welcome to the Mother City... Cape Town, South Africa! Transportation will be arranged to and from the airport. This property is well located so that you may access the sights of Cape Town, many restaurants, pubs, and shops all within a safe and short walk from your hotel! Day 2: Thursday- July 4th, 2019 Today we have arranged tickets on the Table Mountain Cable Car, you will have a coach transfer to and from the cable car station. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Day 3: Friday- July 5th, 2019 Today we will take a difficult trip down South Africa's past. We will tour Robben Island (where Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison), The District Six Museum for a better understanding of the history of apartheid, and our personal favorite, a visit and walk through the Langa and Gugulethu townships to see how modern life is still impacted by the system of apartheid. Day 4: Saturday- July 6th, 2019 Taste of Cape Town Experience - We will explore several farmers' markets today! If you're a foodie and enjoy sampling food at the markets, then only have a light breakfast. Day 5: Sunday- July 7th, 2019 Today we will take a private biking tour through the city. We'll cycle through all of the places you've heard about, including Bo-Kaap, The Company Gardens, and more! Day 6: Monday: July 8th, 2019 Today will be a full day! The highlights will be a visit to the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach & Penguin Colony, and the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. Day 7: Tuesday: July 9th, 2019 Today will be a free day to grab some additional souvenirs, and prepare to fly back home! Purchase your tickets before it's too late!
