Calling all fitness enthusiasts! This is a group for anyone seeking out Pilates mat classes in the East Bay. There aren't very many studios in the area, and CoreFitness by Jeanelle is the perfect place to start! I started this group because I know there are a lot of individuals that are interested in starting Pilates, but don't have much background in it. Your first Pilates mat class is for free! I offer general Pilates mixed class, prenatal/postpardum classes, mommy and me classes, and more! Many individuals link Pilates with Yoga, but it is much different. Yoga focuses on meditation and stretching, whereas Pilates focuses on strengthening and elongating muscle groups. Looking forward to teaching you all about the wonders of Pilates!
