Make New Friends Meetup Group

Hi everyone,

My name is Norah and for the last few years I have found my social circle rapidly dwindling. I have signed up to many, very interesting-sound Meet-Up groups, but the fact that many of them are on during the week means that often I can't go. Then, when the weekend rocks around, I have all this free time and no friends to do things with.
This group is for absolutely everyone - male, female, young, old and in-between. I would love to create a group where members feel that they have something interesting to do, if they find themselves at a loose end at the weekend. Of course, I hope that we all get to broaden our social circle and enjoy each other's company.
Coffee, dining out, visits to art galleries and museums, trips to see plays, films or concerts. Hell, we can even go kayaking or horse riding. I'm sure (or at least I hope) that I'm not the only person out there who has felt their social world slowly narrowing. So, let's do this!
