• Holiday Meet, Chat & Snack

    Conroe Central Market

Unless someone requests a specific class, my last offer for this year, 2016 is going to be a 2 day drop in when you can – party, meet, chat & snack. Saturday from 12 pm til 4:30 pm AND Sunday from 1:30 pm til 4:00 pm. I will be offering snacks (some of which are actually healthy!) and small rock gifts in gift bags to everyone that wishes to drop by and hang out. The store I am in is Conroe Central Market at 225 N Thompson St but GPS will LIE to you so put in 223 N Thompson St, Conroe, Tx, 77301 instead. My booth space is across from the cash register. The store actually closes at 5 on Saturday and 4:30 on Sunday. We need to leave at those times so they can lock the place up and go home. My phone number will be in the rsvp questions in case you get lost, call me. You have to rsvp by 11 am on Saturday to get the number but I think it is on my sponsor page. It is a huge antique mall with multiple vendors so if you love looking at interesting and intriguing items, come to the shop earlier. Opening hours are 10 am Saturday and 1 pm on Sunday. Any items you wish to buy, of course, you get a 10% off any marked items as a fellow meetup member. Remind me. You can bring your own snacks and a minimal amount of alcoholic beverages. (I do not have access to a refrigerator) This gathering is free. Hope you can make it! Happy Favorite Holiday if I do not get to see you. Elizabeth, Organizer, Head Instigator & Peace Maker

  • Energy Sharing

    Conroe Central Market

I would like to gather a group of people together to get our energies clear, then to align our energies and focus sending positive energies to specific areas of interest. We can discuss the areas of interest at the meeting. Items I personally am interested in are racial equality/acceptance, religious equality/acceptance, sexual preference equality/acceptance, fear about the future (political and immigration), the economy, pollution, just to name a few. During the energy sending, you will be required to touch hands together. If this is a problem, I suggest you miss this group meeting. Spontaneous hugging may also happen before, during or after the meeting. Euphoria may also happen. You also will be required to have your energies cleared (free), entities removed (free) and optionally, having your spiritual crew upgraded and harmonized (also free). Actually, the whole meeting is free. Donations are welcome but not required or even suggested. I just want people to come play with energy with me. Hope you would like that for you as well! Please bring a snack and fresh water. Bottled water will be available for purchase at the shop though if you need some. Please, no alcohol, drug or heavy caffeine use before you show up or during the meeting. Also, please do not wear strong smelling scents, including deodorants, essential oils and clothes washing fragrances. Some people are sensitive and we will be in close contact. A belief in reincarnation is helpful but not required. Each person can use their specific religious deity, universal or personal physical energies to send with. We allow each other to have our own specific ways of doing what I am desiring to accomplish. I hope to see many of you there. I suck at email right now so if you would like more information, please call me on my business phone number. For privacy purposes, it will not be in this email. It is located on our group's sponsor link, (Texas Gem Tree) click the About link. Phone number is located there and if you RSVP yes, you will also get the number. You can RSVP no later if you are not satisfied with my answers. No problems! Elizabeth, Group Leader

  • Make & Safely Use Smudges & Natural Air Fresheners

    Conroe Central Market

    $10.00

If you wish to be in this class but this time or date is inconvenient, please contact me or post a comment on the event. We are having a meeting to teach people how to wrap your own smudge sticks, how to use loose leaf items for smudges and air freshening and how to REwrap badly made smudge sticks for our safe smudging practices. If you have items you wish to wrap yourself, cut them in the time right before you go to the meeting. Make sure the items are not toxic or damp. Dampness will cause mildew later. Wrapping them in dry paper towels and putting them in a plastic bag to carry would be helpful. I will provide string (cotton) and if you do not bring your own smudge material, previously wrapped smudge sticks will be handed out to rewrap in a safer style. Most smudge sticks are wrapped where the string will fall off and the whole thing unravels, dribbling smoldering bits. We will also walk around holding a small plate or saucer (you can bring your own) and I will demonstrate how I create the smoke I use (and how I disperse it) and why I actually use the items. We will also discuss intentions we use while smudging. Most people assume that the smoke does it all. In actuality, it is mostly our intentions that we use to do the cleansing. I will also provide some generic phrases that you can take home that you can use for cleansing or inspiration for your own intentions if these do not resonate. I will also teach how to stay with more positive thought directions so we can work with creating the positive energies and not the negative energies. I also call this working in the vortex or the quantum field using positive emotions, archetypes and energies. I am charging $10 per person for the class and if you use one of my white sage smudge sticks to practice on, you get to take that home with you. You can still bring your smudging materials and use one of my sticks as well. If you are in the habit of buying the predried sticks (and not from me), you will want to learn how to handle them when you receive them so they are safe to use. I always rewrap them when I buy them for my shop. Bring cash ($10). I hope to see you there. Bring a nonalcoholic drink and snacks if you like. They do have some drinks there at the shop you can buy. Depending on the number of people that show up this may take an hour, perhaps two if we have a lot of questions. Prepare for at least an hour. Thanks! Elizabeth

  • Holiday Party Meet & Greet

    Conroe Central Market

I don't usually have much luck getting a class or meditation together this close to any holidays so I usually offer just a meet and greet. My 'shop' is a booth in an antiques mall in downtown Conroe. They are having a big event downtown: Conroe Christmas Celebration- December 12,[masked]:00am-5:00pm. Go see! Drop in! Fun stuff for the kids! I think there is a parade. So, I will be at the shop at my booth with snacks nearby. We will probably have just minor munchies. Bring something to drink. If it is cool, dress warm. Come in Conroe Central Market, go by booth 111 and introduce yourself to me. (I am right across from the cash register) If you are in facebook, most likely, I will post a recent picture of me so you can see who I am (facebook.com/texasgemtree). Bring your favorite portable healing, focusing, calming tools and show them off! I would love to see some of you show up. I will have little gift bags if you tell me you are from one of my meetup groups. Also if you are signed up with my facebook shop page, tell me you saw the gift advertised. If you are having people over and you don't have nice calming fluorite, you may want to pick some up while you are at the shop. I most likely will have a few boxes of gemstone beads for sale plus some major mark downs for gift giving on my higher priced items. Hope to see you there! Elizabeth (Beth)

  • Greet & Show & Tell

    Starbucks

Just a meet and get to know each other. Bring your favorite stones, herbs, books, music, pendulums, charts, or any other 'tools' you use to create, assist, enhance or clear your path/goal/life. We can talk, discuss, share about any ol spiritual things in our lives. It will be at the listed Starbucks. The time is not rigid. You can come late, we can stay late, up to the individual. Please RSVP. If no RSVPs by 6 pm of the meet day, I will not show. Consider it canceled. I can also scheduling another meeting if anyone wishes to claim a time. I know this is very short notice and this is a busy season but sometimes really good things happen with spontaneity. My phone number will be in the RSVP questions so if you RSVP, you can get the number to call me if you need more information or help locating the place. Thanks! Hope to see you there. They will expect you to purchase something for use of their facility. We could just donate them a dollar or two if you do not want to consume anything. There is WIFI there. Hope to see you there! • 3 Day Halloween Event!

    Conroe Central Market

This year Conroe Central Market and Texas Gem Tree as well as some of the other booth owners at the market will be having a Halloween Event. October 29, 30, 31 from 10 am til 6 pm each day we will be offering daily discounts for the booths that are participating. Discounts will be from 5% to 15% on items that are included in the event. Check the booths for a sign with details. There will be treats, food and drink offered as well. My favorite part will be the costume contest and the prizes. (I love costumes and prizes!) Texas Gem Tree will be offering several rock or jewelry items for top three best costumes. Hopefully, other booth owners will chip in prizes as well. I will update if so. To enter the contest, anyone wearing a costume must allow at least one picture and allow us to post it on facebook. Entries need to leave contact information in case of a win. Entries also must contact us back within 5 days of our contacting you or forfeit the prize. The most likes or shop written votes will win the prizes. There will be three days of the contest plus an extra three days afterwards while people are voting on the pictures to decide who wins. If you wish to vote and are not on facebook, you can go to the shop and tell whoever is at the front desk to record your vote on whichever costume you like the best. Please only vote one time for any one person. Remember, if you are down at the shop, ask them to show you the pictures then record your votes. There will also be a drawing available for anyone that shows up those 3 days and buys from the mall. Every time you buy, you can enter. (Please don’t stand there buying several items several different times at once to make extra entries.) You will have to give contact details so we can contact the winner of the drawing. There will only be one winner for the drawing. Prize is not yet decided on. The drawing will be done at the close of the store on October 31. I will update once we decide on the drawing prize. I hope to see you there! Please drop by and visit us! We love costumes! Can’t wait to see yours!

  • Just meet, face to face!

    Starbucks

We can come to the Starbucks at I45 and 336, get to know each other, maybe eat, drink something, chat, bring stuff we wish to talk about or learn how to do. Share books, videos, favorite things we like to do or just talk about our everyday lives. Nothing special, no pressure, just meeting. Maybe we can discuss what we would actually like to do in another meeting. Yes, you can drop by late. If it turns out to be lots of fun, we may stay later. The coffee shop is open until 11 pm so no hurry to leave. Looking forward to meeting you all. Please RSVP something, yes, no, maybe. Just so I know that you did receive the invitation. Thanks! NO FEE, but it would be nice of everyone to buy something to support their space. This Starbucks is near the Walmart. It is the 336 closer to Huntsville than to Houston (North Loop). Same side of 336 as Walmart and on the same side of the freeway as Walmart where the Blockbuster used to be.
