Join me for BGE Group’s First Monthly “Get Active” series. “Get Active” series will be a monthly commitment to incorporate physical activity into our lives. We will feature activities like walking, hiking, kayaking, yoga, dancing, indoor rock climbing, outdoor obstacle courses and more!

This month’s will be a hike to Euclid Creek Reservation. We will meet at the Upper Highland Picnic Area, hike will start at 10:20 promptly!**

We will walk the Upper Highland Trail, about 2 miles (start and end).

Make sure to bring comfortable clothes and shoes. And plenty of water! 💧

Our next virtual book club is: Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany Jackson.

This book delves into the disappearance of Monday and the impact it has on her best friend, Claudia. It explores themes of friendship, identity, and the chilling reality of missing persons.

_This book reaches heavy topics of sexual abuse, black missing persons, poverty, mental health, and family. I find that deep diving into these topics is important for discussion and our growth as a community. _

We will meet at the Rocky River Reservation sign at 11am, start our walk prompty at 11:15am.

Join me for another Get Active series for November! We are doing Yinyasa style yoga class at Studio Cleveland. Note: This is an open class, not a private class.

Yinyasa Yoga is a great yoga practice for beginners and an experienced yogi. The first half of class is a vinyasa style flow: a combination of Sun salutations, twists and backbends, standing and strengthening postures as well as balancing poses. The second half of class is a slower paced, yin-style deep stretch, focusing on traditionally tighter areas such as hips, legs and back.
