What we're about

Hello,

I’ve just taken over the Organizer roll for active 20’s and 30’s so this description is a work in progress.

Direction:

Let’s stay true to the namesake and try to put together “ACTIVE” events. kayaking & SUP, disk golf, dancing, bowling, flag football, kickboxing, climbing. They don’t have to be athletic events either. painting, movies, board games, book club, escape rooms, billiards, karaoke, trivia. I would just like the events to be centered around some sort of group activity were everyone is trying to work towards a goal. I find this type of environment is best for getting to know people and developing friendships.

I would like to stay away from events centered around just being social and drinking. I’m not against that sort of thing, but I feel like there are other meetups that already cater to this audience. As I scroll through events there are already plenty of bar crawls, beach days, bon fires, and house parties to choose from. I’m already a member of those groups and those events are great, but there’s no need to have another group simply doing the same things. Instead let’s do our own thing and provide our own unique events that are not available in other groups.
