Join local ceramicist Dani, from Kuu Ceramics, for a fun, informal hand building session, perfect for beginners and creative dabblers alike. You’ll learn how to make your own small pinch pots or trinket dishes using simple hand building techniques. No experience needed.
You’ll be provided with easy to follow instructions, an instruction sheet and access to all the tools and materials you need, including coloured underglazes to decorate your creations. While Dani will be on hand to offer guidance this is a self led, drop-in style workshop designed to be social, playful and low pressure, ideal for a chilled evening of making and chatting.
Each participant will receive 200g of clay, enough to make one small pot or two miniature dishes. Your finished pieces will be taken away to be glazed and kiln fired and will be ready to collect around 6 weeks later.
The workshop will be held in our Minerva Bar, so you can sip on a cocktail or two while you get creative.
