Science On Tap - Cosmic Revolution: What Happened Before the Big Bang?
Science On Tap is a local science lecture series where you can listen science presentation while enjoying a beer or other beverage.
They have events both in Portland and Vancouver WA.
You need to get ticket for the show and I recommend getting them ahead of time as they do sell out. Here is the link to this show:
I will be be there when the doors open at 6 pm. The show starts at 7 pm so get there early if you want to hang out. I'll wear my top hat and have a meetup sign. There is a Science on Tap meetup and we might merge with them.
This will most likely be a regular event for The Mad Scientist meetup.
What better bar for a bunch of mad scientists to meet at than The Nerd Out. Located on SE Belmont this bar is wallpapered with old comic books. Food and drink specials have comic book/sci-fi names.
Meet there at 7 pm on Saturday and hang out 7 to 9ish (maybe later). I have no idea how crowded it gets so I'll try to get there a little early and get a table. I'll have a meetup sign and be wearing my top hat.
Chance to get to know one another and talk about our creations, interests, project and brain storm about future meetups.
