Beginner hikers that don't want to hike alone, no hiker left behind. Exploring San Tan Mountain Regional Park at the moment, and beyond until the heat kicks in them we will travel up North to escape the heat.

Every member is made an Event Organizer! Lace up those shoes and just hike! Arizona has so many beautiful options and we have hikers from all over the valley not just Chandler! Please participate and lead a hike all 290 members cannot go together.

The hiking bears come out of hibernation in October and hike until the summer heat is too much to bare!

| Holbert Trail to Dobbins Lookout | South Mountain

South Mountain Park

After entering South Mountain park off central take first left and go towards the end of the huge parking lot and you will find Holbert Trailhead across from the bathrooms. The Holbert Trail starts off in the center of South Mountain Park, immediately leading into a canyon. Length: 4.1 miles round trip Trail Type: Out and Back Gain/ Loss: +931 ft Difficulty: Moderate It’s a slow and steady hike with lots of switchbacks throughout. This hike will get your heart rate going as the rest of it can be quite the incline. Once at the top, though, Dobbins Lookout is a perfect view
