What we're about

WHO WE ARE: We are a diverse group of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people that gather together for a variety of events. Our group is about building community with a very down to earth style of spending time with each other. Some of us are single. Some of us are already in long-term relationships. We are young, old, of different races, religions and backgrounds. Even though this is mainly an LGBT group, we are certainly open to supportive and fair-minded (non-LGBT) friends and family who want to attend our events. If you are looking for a great group of friends to socialize in a relaxed environment, then we would be glad to have you join us. Everyone within the group is treated with kindness, dignity and respect.

ACTIVITIES: Our interests range from going out to eat/group dinners, potlucks, cookouts, movies, plays, concerts, day/weekend trips, outdoor adventures and participation in community events.

STEPPING UP: At some point, if you would like to be considered an "official" event organizer for the group, to help plan or host some of our upcoming events, please contact Scott, our organizer. With your help, our group will be able to schedule more and more events each month.

We look forward to welcoming you into our growing and energetic community!!

1971 Roaster's Coffee Bar (Formerly Tradition Coffee Company)

1971 Roasters & Coffee Bar

To help meet the need for a sense of community in the Treasure Coast area, we have a regular hang-out that serves steaming cups of black magic with your favorite pick of flavored syrups, whipped cream or alternative milk. On the flipside, you can take your pick of frozen coffee, lemonade, chai, dark chocolate, or caramel. Lots of choices and...there is a beautiful lake view!! The very best part is sharing these liquid pleasures with good company…even more with other folks from our LGBT Community. There comes a time when we need each other. We need that special vibe of like-mindedness. Sharing the simple joys of being understood in friendly company. 1971 Roaster's Coffee Bar is the perfect place for all of these things to come together under one roof!! For now, this will be an event that happens every week for newcomers and a nice place to chill out with old friends. From here, you get to meet new people, help plan other events, and enjoy the magic in each cup of coffee or some other beverage of your choice. So, pull up a chair, sip on something tasty and meet someone new. WE WELCOME YOU!!!
