Christians Who Dont Go to Church

Do you love God? Do you want a closer relationship with Him and fellow believers, but have never quite felt right going to church? Are you opposed to viewpoints from some individuals who say, "Everyone needs to be in church in order to be spiritually healthy" ? Then look no further!

We are a group of individuals who love our Creator and love people, but simply do not believe that church is right for everyone. This could be because we believe that it makes more logical sense that all individuals would grow closer to God in nature (His creation) rather than a man-made building. It could also be because we had a bad experience in church, or feel that has actually taken us further from God. Or it could be some other reason.

Whatever our reasons are, we are all grounded in the same principles of individuality and freedom which were preserved through our Founding Fathers— that that what works well for one individual could be detrimental to another. The virtues of freedom, individuality, and natural rights were all given to us as a birthright through our Creator. And we hold these true ideals close to our hearts.

We also value other people, and recognize the benefits of a community rather than always cultivating our relationship with God alone. Therefore, we like to come together with each other in nature (God's creation) and nourish new and existing friendships with those around us.

Our activities include picnic meetings where we simply talk and get to know each other, hiking or forest bathing trips, guided biblical meditations, and silent Bible study. Totally open to new ideas as well, as this group believes in freedom.

What this group is: A loving community. A safe space. An alternative to group therapy. A place where anyone is welcome and everyone can attend, including those who go to church.

What this group is not: A church bashing squad (open conversation is welcome but if the topics veer toward total negativity they will be switched). A religious entity, cult entity, or specific kind of spiritual entity. A political organization.
