In existence for over 5000 years, yoga is a multifaceted system of interconnectedness of mind, body, breath, emotions and spirit. Yoga is a practice of quieting the mind, body and emotions while allowing us to feel connected to the world. The yoga practice is a constant learning experience, every day; every moment offers a different experience and a new opportunity to begin again. We all are always learning yoga; it is an experience of learning to connect with oneself when dealing with difficulties such as physical and emotional pain or trauma. The teachings of yoga help us delve within ourselves to allow the healing to come from within.
