Intermediate Tennis at Royal Oak High School

This is for intermediate tennis players from 3.0 to 3.5. See rating explanations below.

We can do drills and play games—doubles or singles depending on the number of people who show up.

NTRP Ratings:

1.0 – 1.5: Total beginners, new to the game.

2.0 – 2.5: Beginner-Intermediate, able to rally and execute basic strokes.

3.0 – 3.5: Intermediate, more consistent, can handle medium-paced shots, and may start playing in recreational leagues.

4.0: Advanced Beginner, able to consistently hit with depth and control, and can anticipate shots well.

4.5 – 5.0: Advanced, can hit with power and spin, and construct points effectively.

5.5 – 6.0: Tournament-level play, with high skill and strong tactical awareness.

6.5 – 7.0: Professional level, highly skilled players competing at the highest levels.
