This fitness program is for ANYONE worried about travelling locally or internationally without confidence to protect oneself and/or defend others. Even though we examine numerous concepts of combat, this class is not MMA or for egos!! One of the main pillars is addressing several common day threats, such as being confronted by someone with a knife, so you have a vast 'toolbox' of options to avoid feeling like a victim. For example, instead of teaching one fighting style, our class studies each threatening scenario while revolving through teachings from Krav Maga, Wing Chun, Muay Thai kickboxing and stick fighting. The social gathering ("class") is designed so people improve their conditioning, build strength, and even lose weight while learning self-defence combat techniques to immediately expedite safety before it's too late, defensively escaping threats, etc. Ultimately, we hope it builds your physical health, self-esteem, risk assessment, critical thinking under stress, confidence and safety as you travel anywhere.
