- Engineering a unicorn
Presentation by Rolf Njor Jensen SVP Engineering, Tradeshift Some startups scale up at the speed of light. Tradeshift is a Danish unicorn, valued at $1.2 billion. How has Tradeshift balanced growth at the organizational level as well as the employee level? Scaling an engineering organization from 1 to 10 employees is a good challenge. Scaling to 350 engineers globally, divided into 58 different teams, well that’s an even better challenge. Come and hear how Tradeshift did it – learn how to grow an organization, while still maintaining a healthy growth framework for the individual engineer.
- TestLab with Michael Bolton on <You Decide>
New TestLab meetup with Michael Bolton DevelopSense (CA) (http://www.developsense.com/) on: Wednesday June 14th at 17:30 to 20:00 at Tradeshift (https://tradeshift.com/) - Landemærket 10, Copenhagen Michael is in town and we have the chance of having him join our meetup in June, where we can ask him (almost ;0) anything. The list below are some possible topics for him to tackle, but we need your suggestions as well! 1) What is- and how to apply- critical thinking? 2) What can developers learn from testers? 3) What can testers learn from developers? 4) How to know what to automate? 5) How to identify exposure? 6) How to obtain the "right" coverage? 7) How to cope with the stress of being "so close to the release always"? 8) How to get closer to your end-users (e.g. when there is no user research team)? 9) How to hit the ground running in a new test role? 10) Building quality thinking into an Agile team xx) Your suggestion(s) Sign up here: https://www.meetup.com/TestLab/events/239512484/
