The Mission of the Circle of Grace is to glorify God by providing support, guidance and encouragement to one another as Home educators adhering to closely held biblical principles while raising our children to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ; using the good news of God’s Word, and the power of His Holy Spirit to nurture a community of families who worship God from the heart, serve others with compassion, and love each other with a spirit of grace and forgiveness. We meet once per month as parents and schedule educational field trips and play dates throughout the month. We identify and facilitate in service and missions projects for our community on a regular basis as we teach our children to be the Light of Jesus in our world.
To insure our members are invested in the group and each other we ask that each member:
Sign a Statement of Faith that reflects our evangelical Christian principles
Pay annual dues
Attend at least one parent meeting per semester (mostly moms but dads have occasionally gathered separately for prayer)
Plan and facilitate one activity/trip per year.
Since this group is for the purpose of guiding and encouraging home educators, you must homeschool your student at least 50% of the time at home. The remainder of the time can be spent in co-ops and classes outside the home. (ie: no full time private or public school students/parents)
