Future Travel Planning Updates

We thought Google forms would be a good way to coordinate trip options and planning. I sent out the first form with the ideas I had from other members. We have a few great options. If you don't see something you would be interested in, just send me a message through meetup or email at deersong04@gmail.com
The form has a few options that will work when we have more details.

As far as general guidelines for any upcoming trips, there will be a cancellation date. If you have to cancel after that date, you will need to find someone to take your place or someone from the waitlist can take your place. That is the only your funds will be refunded.
We will setup a meet and greet so everyone can meet each other before the trip date. It's a good way to get to know your fellow travelers and find out what everyone would like to do while they are on their journey.
There will be a general schedule and plenty of downtime or time to explore solo if you would like.
I would encourage everyone to put the focus on the upcoming experience rather than experiences from the past. This helps keep everyone in the present and opens up the opportunities to enjoy where you are at and where you will be exploring.

That is the general idea. We can meet for a chat in person if you would like but we should be able to coordinate ideas here or through email.

I have the Smoky Mountains on the tentative schedule, this is a large area and I would like to rent a cabin near a campground so we could have both options for people. Do you have a spot in the Smoky Mountains you like that isn't touristy? This experience will be focused on hiking and relaxing.

For 2027, I have a trip to Europe on the wish list 😊
