The adventure weekend includes camping and hiking in Lake District, located 30 min from Ambleside.
Lake District is located in northwest England. It is a mountainous area, whose valleys have been modelled by glaciers in the Ice Age. The picturesque U-shaped valleys and steep and sharp ridges, England’s highest mountain and deepest and longest lakes. The combined work of nature and human activity has produced a harmonious landscape in which the mountains are mirrored in the lakes. Grand houses, gardens and parks have been purposely created to enhance the landscape’s beauty.
