Looks like southwest is still open and the tornado warning got canceled.
Thanks for the update, Walter. I haven't heard of any closings at Southwest yet, and I've been told the tornado warning in effect until 4:45 has been cancelled. We're still planning on meeting, assuming the conditions don't worsen, but please take safety into consideration. I'll email updates and tweet if there is a cancellation.

As an alternate representation, someday, I'd like to talk about 3D "Boundary Representation" & "Constructive Solid Geometry" (using STEP/IGES/GWB formats). The advantage of these is that it is precise, so that as you zoom in, you don't suffer rasterization effects. Think of bitmap fonts vs Adobe TrueType fonts.
