SQL Server Performance Tuning 101 for Developers
In enterprise environments, SQL Server is ever-present and resources are finite. Whether deployed on-premises or through one of the many Azure offerings, knowing how to tune and optimize queries is crucial towards effectively using the platform. We’ll cover the basics of execution plans, indexing, T-SQL anti-patterns and best practices. Attendees will gain the fundamental knowledge needed to understand and minimize the impact that their queries have in production and will leave armed with resources to further maximize the performance of their SQL Server backed applications.
