Spend a couple of hours with some very cool mature men. You'll chant, maybe hear a moving poem, or quote from Rumi or Hafiz, then break for tea and cookies, after which...

"... if our faith is good
then we'll meet again
on the road
and we'll be thirsty,
and stop
and laugh
and drink together again

from the deep well of things as they are."

~ David Whyte ~

Hosted by Doug Von Koss and open to all men of good will. Ability to sing is not an issue in our perfection free zone...nor is age, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or ethnicity.

In addition to meetup's RSVP count they're usually 10 -16 regular attendees who've been meeting like this for over 20 years!

The Finnish Brotherhood Hall Chestnut and University is about a 15 minute walk from the North Berkeley BART station.

6.00 donation requested, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

I have been called a gifted artist, teacher and performer. I guess that’s mostly true. I prefer to say I am a carrier of artistic medicine in words and sounds. I work in the wise fool tradition so that means I take what I do very seriously, but I don’t take myself seriously at all. - Doug (http://www.dougvonkoss.com/bio.htm)
