  • Closed Group Men's Hangout (current, past & prospective closed grp men welcome!)

The Pirate Castle (not a pub)

    £15.00

Come hang out with men from your own closed group, men from past closed groups and men who wish to join an existing - or begin a new - closed group. BYO food, drink and whatever else you'd like to share (or consume yourself!) We'll do a quick check-in, we'll touch on where MenSpeak is heading with the launch of MenSpeak Charity, MenFacilitate accreditation, your needs, our plans and how to bring things together for all our good. We may even shoot some video / record bits & bobs for a MenSpeak Radio show for the Men's Radio Station, for those who are up for it... The time and space will be ours to hang out, watch the sun go down, chill out along the canal and share some well deserved downtime. How better to celebrate Men's Health Week, then in the company of a few good men, from a similar self-aware vibe, in a similar journey - on a break!

  • MenSpeak Men's Group for Divorced / Divorcing, Separated / Separating Fathers

The Pirate Castle (not a pub)

    £25.00

Come to our special men's group for divorced / divorcing, separated / separating fathers on Tues 11th June, where you can air your experiences and learn from the experiences of other fathers. This is a one-off open group to evaluate and meet your needs, possibly make it a regular monthly group. A men’s group is a group of men, sitting in a circle, hanging out and getting real. We laugh, listen, celebrate life and grow together as we share our experiences, thoughts and feelings beyond our masks. We respectfully challenge one another to be better, more authentic men, without telling each other what to do or how to be. There is no pressure and it’s fine to say "Pass” when it’s your turn to speak. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-rSTNjcXzE Life doesn't have to be bad to come to a men's group. We've been successfully growing - from the good, the bad and even the ugly - as individual men and as a community, since 2002. Watch our 15 min demo of a two and a half hour men's group at Southbank's Being A Man Festival: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYRF8QR8ONM We are accepting, accountable and we want more out of life. We acknowledge who we’ve been and we test drive who we want to be, taking the best of ourselves out into the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naRM8dhXXJM Please read our Ground Rules before attending the group: http://www.meetup.com/menspeak/pages/MenSpeak_Ground_Rules/ VENUE: The Pirate Castle (Not a pub) 33 Oval Road Gilbey's Wharf, Camden Town NW1 7EA TIME: 6:45pm for 7pm start - 9:30pm Please arrive before 7pm. OPEN GROUPS VS CLOSED GROUPS This is an 'open' men's group, which means that any man can drop in on a one-off basis. MensSpeak also has 'closed' men’s groups, where men commit to attending every month, for six months. (Most men stay for years.) Closed group men enjoy greater familiarity, friendship and trust, which leads to more openness, honesty, accountability, support, as we progress on our life paths. Lifelong friendships are forged for some, others come to do their personal work, get self-aware and gracefully move on. Closed group men also enjoy discounts, special rates and first dibs on popular events. Closed group six month terms begin in July and January, with trial sessions in June and December before committing. Closed groups meet on the 4th week of each month. Limited spaces available, so please contact me ASAP if you're interested and I'll see if there's space available. NOTE: The group is facilitated by Kenny Mammarella D'Cruz (http://www.themanwhisperer.co.uk). • MenAware - Expression, Body Language, Social Dynamics

The Pirate Castle (not a pub)

    £60.00

Self-aware men is the new black! Some call it ‘woke’, most don’t know how to ‘do’ it and everyone (I know) finds a self-aware man more irresistible than muscles, money or the best act on the scene! This goes for your PROFESSIONAL, as well as PERSONAL life. MenAware shows you how to ‘be’ the best you, with personal footage shot on your phone so you can practice be~ing the best of yourself, then naturally share yourself in the world, comfortably oozing personal power, presence, passion and purpose. There are three steps to our MenAware workshop: (i) We receive feedback on how we come across – from posture and body language, to attitude and vibe, to presence and presentation, to tone and voice, to everything unspoken that is probably vital for you to know about yourself. With expert feedback from Kenny and the group, adjustments will be suggested and you will be filmed (on your phone) as you move into your personal presence and powerful, magnetic, irresistible authenticity. You can watch, review and practice to authentic perfection in daily life. (ii) We will take a look at where you have been coming from inside up until now, where you want to come from inside from now on and how to adjust this, enabling you to attract the people, possibilities and life you want to live into – beyond past restrictions. Knowledge is the power to step into. (iii) We’ll share who we are, where we’ve come from and where we want to go, learning from past experience and accepting ourselves as in our conscious and connected lives. From here, we are available to the riches that life wants to bring to our door. Opportunity will knock and you’ll know how to respond. For quality's sake, this workshop is available to six men (plus two facilitators) so be sure to book register your interest / book your place asap. You will not be under any pressure to do anything for the workshop - one of our ground rules is you can say "Pass" to any question or exercise - so you can just come along, sit back and listen if you choose. "Inspiring, revolutionary, this completely changed the way I approached finding love and connection with others. I've always been crap with girls and I've always found it hard to reach the level of depth I wanted when meeting new people. With Kenny's tools and the group feedback from MenFlirt I've turned everything around and now, I'm getting dates, making new and better friends and being more ballsy in my career, all while putting in less effort and enjoying the process more than ever before!"
