Hello there! We are excited to announce our next meetup on Thursday, November 5th in Havana. Join us to move Cuba's startup ecosystem forward! As always the event is accompanied by free drinks and snacks. Merchise Startup Circle is very privileged to have: Ajit Sivadasan (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ajitsivadasan) Vice President/General Manager of Lenovo.com Ajit manages the Global Web strategy for Lenovo across 70+ countries. In his role he manages Lenovo's online sales across its B2C and B2B channels. Over the last 9 years he has architected and built Lenovo's web capabilities working with an internal team spread across 10 countries, growing the business 4x and profits by over 8x. Lenovo.com has won several awards for Usability and Design recently. Ajit will be talking about: In God we trust, everyone else must have Data! In a world that is increasing digital, shelf lives of CMOs will be tied to their ability to constantly experiment and measure effectiveness. The advances in technology (Big Data, Mobile, DMPs etc.) coupled with the digital footprint left by customers will provide a basis to facilitate this. This discussion will broadly focus on how the marketing landscape is rapidly changing thanks to the advent of digital/social marketing strategies, advanced data management capabilities(measurement and optimization), the new found power of the individual customer (Internet of ME). We will look at what organizations have to do to drive cultural transformation internally and what types of strategies help drive ROI more readily through a few case studies that Lenovo has implemented over the past few years. Last, but not the least, lessons on what NOT to do as well as what TO DO while driving successful Data related strategies as they pertain to Customer Experience, Digital Marketing and Online Sales. ----- Stay tuned for more additions to our speaker line-up, as well as updates on the event schedule and venue. ----- Special thanks to our media sponsor 24Notion (http://24notion.tv/): 24Notion is full-service global creative marketing/digital/Technology/PR and lifestyle agency that combines strategic ideas with customized tactical execution.
