VOLUNTEERS - CAN YOU HELP?
Our meetups don't exist without help from our members. We need volunteers to:
* Take photos (your smartphone is fine!) to share on our blog/Meetup/Facebook
* Take notes/publish recap on our blog (don't worry, we have a template you can use)
* Greet members when they arrive - help new members feel welcome
* Setup and organize room after meetup
If you would like to volunteer to help at this meetup, comment below and we'll get back with you. To show our appreciation for your help, you attend the meetup for free when you volunteer!
PARKING AND VENUE
Grand Circus is located in the Broderick Tower (http://www.brodericktower.com/), and you enter from the Woodward-facing doors.
Once inside, go to the end of the hall, and take the elevator to the third floor. Once you get off the elevator, proceed straight ahead to the end of the hall, where you will find a sign telling you which room our WordPress meeting is in.
Parking is available at the Detroit Opera House parking garage, located on Broadway and around the corner from the Grand Circus. Parking is $10, cash only (if there's a special event that night, it may be more). There's also street parking on Washington Boulevard, one block west of Woodward ($1/hour after 6pm, pay by Park Detroit app or credit card).
Here's parking information from the Broderick Tower website (PDF) (https://www.grandcircus.co/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/PARKING.pdf).
Please note that if there are less than 10 people registered, we'll cancel event and notify everyone by Sunday before meetup.
Everyone wanting to attend the meetup must register online. No walk-ins.
