Do you have a telescope you got for Christmas, or you bought last
year, but you still have not figured out how it works? Or you've been using a scope for a while now, but you think maybe there is more to learn about your particular model. Or maybe you are thinking of buying a telescope but are not sure what to look for. If any of this applies, then
this workshop is for you! Various club members with years of astronomy experience will discuss and demonstrate aspects of setting up and using a telescope. We will use club scopes as an example, but if you bring your own scope we can answer specific questions or maybe show you some things you may not yet know.

The presentation follows the club's monthly business meeting held at 7:30 PM. Guests are invited to both events at no charge. Those who wish to attend the presentations only should arrive at 8:00. (You may bring your scope before or during the 7:30 business meeting.)

PLEASE NOTE: MEETINGS ARE NO LONGER HELD AT COYKENDALL AUDITORIUM (except on special occasions).

After the meeting and presentations many club members and attendees gather at the Plaza Diner for refreshments and camaraderie.
