What is the best part of a TrailFest?
The people, seeing old friends, making new friends, people coming from all over to celebrate the Buckeye Trail.
What is the second best part of TrailFest?
The locations! Each year we travel to a different portion of Ohio to show off what makes the trail special in that area. Of course it is what the people of today have accomplished, but what about the people of yesterday. So much, so little time.
Join us for led and self led hikes on the Buckeye Trail
and other trails. All skill levels—easy, moderate, difficult.
Join a trail crew and help build a section of trail.
Learn from the best.
Attend the Buckeye Trail Association business meeting.
Learn how you can help.
Meet hikers and trail maintainers from around the state.
Never hike alone again!
The featured Buckeye Trail Association event, Buckeye TrailFest, will make its sixth appearance at Glen Helen the last weekend in April. Presentations, workshops, and of course hikes will all be a part of this great event!
This event is taking place within the heart of one of our largest chapters (Yes, that would be us, folks!) and it would be grand of we could have a large showing of Miami Rivers Chapter folks there to support their efforts. Buckeye TrailFest is always such a fun weekend, so plan now on attending!
The registration page for Buckeye TrailFest has not been set up quite yet, and signing up on this event on our site does not register you for TrailFest.
