Lady Chatterley's Lover (theatre)

  • Lady Chatterley's Lover (theatre)

The Blue Orange Theatre showed this play in 2013, and it was very much enjoyed by those members who attended.

Plot.... The D.H.Lawrence story follows Connie Reid, a cultured, independent thinker who marries the emotionally distant Sir Clifford Chatterley.  Connie turns to the bed of the lowborn gamekeeper Mellors and experiences true passion and genuine intimacy for the first time.  This however begins to lead to a dramatic love triangle and public scandal.

We will meet in theatre bar at 7.15pm. We'll aim to grab a table, and we'll do introductions if you are new. After the play we will go for drinks at the near by bars in the jewellery quarter.

Parking is possible in Great Hampton Street, quite close to the theatre, or along Hall Street (by Tesco Express). Buses 16,74,75 stop directly outside the theatre.

Please note, suitable for adults, due to adult theme. This play contains full frontal nudity and scenes of an explicit nature.

Please buy your own ticket by clicking on the link below, or by contacting the box office on[masked]-2643. Their website will become available for booking this show during early October. Seating is unreserved inside the theater, but we will aim (as best we can) to grab seats together.

Please confirm in the comments section below once you have your ticket. We would appreciate knowing who has tickets :-)
