Venue2: The Jamhouse, St Paul's Square, Jewellery Quarter, B3 1QU
Birmingham - The Jam HouseEARLY & MID EVENING: By popular request, we're planning another visit to one of our adopted venues for social gatherings, and among the classiest spots on the upmarket side of the city. It's a vibrant smart venue with an important ingredient of being able to hear each other speak. We are usually seated in an area to the side of the bar.
If you've not been to an event before, or at least recently, this is an ideal one to meet up with a cross section of our members. New Members Welcome, the more, the merrier! As always, we'll grab a section of the venue for ourselves, and will look out for members until about 8:15 pm.
LATE EVENING & NIGHT
From around 21:45, we will move on to the ever-popular JAMHOUSE in the Jewellery Quarter, for some live music and their dancefloor. Smart Casual dress, no rips caps or trainers please. It's far more fun if everyone arrives together and sticks together through the entire evening, but for sure we recognize that those travelling a distance may need to leave at some point, so enjoy as much as you can!
Wanting to dance too, hosts will be off duty in the 2nd venue, so sorry there is no provision to actively find anyone going directly there.
Contact: This is a monthly repeating event, and as such, has no fixed host, but host duties will vary. Volunteers to be host for the night are much appreciated, otherwise it will fall to collective responsibility. Typically we only monitor messages on our online meetup and facebook sites until approximately 6pm. So please don't be caught out by this. We hope and trust that everyone has a wonderful evening.
Attendance: As with all events, please RSVP courteously, and please note that no-shows and withdrawals in the last 24 hours are not allowed.
