Godiva Music Festival 2013

Godiva Festival has attracted some of the biggest rock, pop, hip hop and acoustic artists to its stages, ensuring the event is firmly embedded in the summer music festival season. Established artists such as The Human League, The Enemy, Ash, Super Furry Animals, Go West, ABC, The Christians, Kid Creole & the Coconuts, Hazel O’Connor, The Primitives, Badly Drawn Boy, The Fratellis and Kasabian are among just some of the names that have wowed the crowds.

With live music covering all genres, history and conservation tents, family activities, a fun fair and so much more besides spread over Coventry’s glorious War Memorial Park for three fabulous days, it’s easy to see why the Godiva Festival continues to attract thousands of visitors through the gates year after year!

More details to follow with which specific bands will be playing at this year at Godiva!

Really good. Thank goodness for good contacts with other meetup groups. I'd be lost without you.

As I'm unfortunately unable to make it now, does anyone want to be a host for the day!? As from past experiences I will advise if someone can provide a contact number so you all can meet up at a specific time about 1ish/2ish within the park by the food vans. It doesn't mean you need to be the host for the day, if you can try and arrange to meet a specific time and take it fro there depending on people taste...

I may decline this if it's raining, sorry but I don't enjoy festivals in the rain and mud.

Sounds fun. What's the best way to get there - if I catch a train from Birmingham, is walking to the site feasible from Coventry station?
