Looking to understand the basic principles of product photography? Want to do your own still life photos? This workshop is a primer for studio photography. Presented by local product photographer, Charles "Duck" Unitas, this is a participatory demonstration. In this workshop I will walk through a typical product shot. Each step and decision will be discussed and explained with attendees offering suggestions to "build the shot", including camera angle, light placement and modifier suggestions. We will have a limited amount of equipment to work with but it will demonstrate how you don't need a lot of expensive equipment to get good results. WHAT TO BRING We won't have time to have everyone shoot so leave your cameras at home. Do bring your cell phone cameras though. There will also be loads of information discussed so do bring a pad and pencil. If you've tried and had trouble with studio still life setups in the past, also bring your questions.
