Which topics do you enjoy reading about and discussing the most?

music, cultural anthropology, religion, language, law.

Any favorite non-fiction books (or authors)?

Recently I have enjoyed The Age of Innocence: Edith Wharton. One of my favorite nonfiction books was It Must Have Been Something I Ate: Jeffrey Steingarten.

Name at least one non-fiction book you would like to discuss with the group.

Some suggestions that I have heard about but havent read--Bad Medicine: John Reilly, Stumbling on Happiness: Daniel Gilbert, A Short History of Nearly Everything:Bill Bryson

Why would you like to join this particular group?

It is enjoyable to read about and discuss nonfiction topics I otherwise wouldnt engage with.
