Our mission is to encourage, support, and cultivate a writers’ culture in Milwaukee.

We are a diverse group of writers. We share writing, publishing, and marketing tips with each other; as a result members gain a variety of different perspectives. There are many opportunities to network with other writers published and non-published from all genres. Milwaukee Writer’s Circle has an outstanding editing team and critique group to help members improve their writing skills. At meetings we offer opportunities to write and share the writing with members. If desired members receive feedback.

We often invite guest speakers to our meetings to present workshops on various writing skills. We also host an annual Community Write-In and Writing contest that offers an opportunity to be published in our annual anthology, The Best of Milwaukee Writer’s Circle.

In addition to those benefits, our members have an opportunity to interview on the “Meet the Author” talk show and have their books promoted.

In essence, at Milwaukee Writer’s Circle members have multiple opportunities to build their platform and learn or improve upon their writing skills.

Those who are serious about their writing should join us.
