CANINE ACUPUNCTURE WITH DR. LISA RADWAN

If you've ever wondered about eastern medicine or holistic alternatives for your pet, then this seminar is for you. Join us to learn more about the ancient tradition of acupuncture and the many ways it can benefit your furry friends. Much like the human counterpart, acupuncture practitioners stimulate specific points of the body, typically by inserting very thin needles through the skin. In traditional Chinese medicine theory, this regulates the flow of vital energy, while also

encouraging healing through advanced blood circulation, nervous system stimulation as well as the release of anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving hormones.

Dr. Radwan is the Chief of Staff at Silver Spring Animal Wellness Center. Her passion is Integrated Medicine, which she has incorporated into her practice since 1998. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture, Traditional Chinese veterinary herbal medicine and veterinary spinal manipulation therapy with additional training in food therapy, nutrition and rehabilitation medicine.

The seminar takes place Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 7PM at our Bay View location. Space is limited so please be sure to RSVP. To maximize everyone's learning, let's leave our pups at home please!

It was great! Would have been nice to have some take home sheet or pdf of the presentation, because some of the diagrams were hard to see. But I really enjoyed it. Thanks!
